Make IE the default browser

Hi all
My system use to ask if I wanted IE as the default browser. Now when I
need to do it, I don't get the option.

Where do I go to make the adjustment from NS to IE?

Open Internet Explorer > Tools > Options > Programs and enable the option:
"Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default browser"
Close IE and open again. Click YES if you are prompted to set it as default browser.

(or)

Download the .reg fix. Set Internet Explorer as default browser: [For WinXP]
