I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate and have two SATA hard drives. I've
changed the "Documents" folder from C:\Users\Jim\Documents to D:\Documents.
Any users on the PC can access this folder. When I made this change on my
older XP PRO PC this folder could not be accessed by anyone but me.

I tried to make changes to the security tab of the properties of
D:\Documents, but I am not clear on how to change the "inherit" choices.

You need to go into the advanced security dialog and uncheck the inherit

The only vista system I have access to at the moment is Vista Ultimate
SP1 on a domain, so I don't know if that's quite accurate. Let me know

and poke around.

Side note, if you are using simple file sharing (be it XP or vista), you
get a ton more control if you disable it.
