Make Folder List the default view in Navigation Pane

I recently upgraded from Outlook 2000 to Outlook 2003. I like it, however I
have been asked to figure out how to make the Folder List the default view in
the Navigation Pane. We do not like the Mail or Calendar settings (and in the
old Outlook, we didn't like the Outlook Bar either).
Could anyone please explain how to make the Folder List the Default?
