How would I convert MM output into a format that plays in a DVD player?

Thanks,

As you know...Movie Maker can save as
..wmv or .avi. Your DVD Aurthoring software
will create the necessary files for the DVD.

MovieMaker won't burn CDs, at least not with Windows XP. The Dell
computer comes with Sonic RecordNow software that will burn a DVD from
your movie file, assuming you have the DVD burner installed. It's
important the the DVD disk you use matches the burner and there is a
difference between DVD+R and DVD-R.

Movie maker will burn cd's, it makes HiMat versions which will play on all
pc's and HiMat capable dvd players.
If you mena XP Movie Maker will not burn dvd's that is correct unles you
have Media Centre Edition which does use Sonic and integrates.

Thank you, Graham and Moses. I did, in fact, find a OEM Sonic MyDVD
installation disc, and the program does create DVD video on the DVD+RW that
I tried.
