I work within sales and make a lot of call to my contacts in Outlook 2007. In
outlook I also store information about the contact. I would like to use the
dial function in Outlook to call my contacts. Call should be made through my
cell phone that is a Windows Mobile 6 Smartphone (HTC S710) and connected
with a USB cable. (could however even be connected through bluetooth as well)

Outlook has no such ability. It can only invoke the Windows dialer.

So have have read in an other thread but how does skype do it? Is there a
third party product that can acchive what i am looking for?

There's an add-in to enable Outlook calls via Skype.
If your Mobile Device can be configured as a Dial-up modem with voice
capabilities then it should work with Outlook. Some mobiles function as
dial-up modems.
The problem would be the actual talking. More than likely you'd only be able
to dial from Outlook and would then need to pick up the mobile to talk
through it. In that case it would be easier just to synch your Contacts with
the mobile and call directly from it.

This was a great idea but unfortunately they have made the phoen too user
friendly meaning if you assignes the phone as a modem it assumes you would
like to use an internet connection in you phone.

The meaning och using outlook is to just have to find the person in hte
computer and just press dial. I'm running your solution right now with
synced addressbook meaning two look ups.
