Hello.
I have a slide with bullits numbered 1 thru 7. I would like to have #1
stand out while the 2-7 are transparent (easy, have gotten this far). Then
have 1 and 3-7 transparent while #2 stands out. Then have 1 and 2 and 4-7
become transparent while #3 stands out. Can this be done all on one slide
with animation (how) or do I need to set up a series of slides for each new
number that I want to have stand out?? Thank you in advance - really
appreciate any help I can get!!! Using Powerpoint 2002.

Are you referring to the bullet points?
If so, yes you can. You can highlight a particular point, then make use of
Emphasis > Transparency effect in the Custom Animation to make it transparent
or back to normal (Transparency at 0%).
Next, play around with the Start: "On Click" and "With Previous", to have
them animate together or on the next click.

Hi Tohlz,
Thank you for your reply!
I did try what you suggested below but I still have problems grouping for
instance slides 1,2 and 4-7 in transparent mode, while making #3 stand out.
I am trying to do this all on one slide. Instead should there be a new slide
every time I have a bullet stand out?
