Make a folder inaccesible

Guest

Hello Everyone

We have an external HD which is used by a few users. There is a folder
which I would like make it inaccessible or even invisible to anyone except
for myself. How can I go on about this?

Many thanks.

Best,

Right-click the folder in question & change the security permissions for you
only.

Move the folder as a subfolder of My Document for your user profile.
Right-click the folder > Sharing and Security > click Sharing tab > check
"Make this folder private" check box. The dialog will prompt you to create a
password for the folder too.

If their accounts have admin privileges they can change the permissions you
set.
