It won't let me remove the spyware and when I try to this is the number it says

Let's make sure you are on the latest code, and if not, try this again.
Go to Help, about, in Windows Defender.
The most important number to look for in this case is Engine version
1372--but if the top number is 1051, you may want to go back to the download
center, re-download, and run the installer again, which will update the UI
code as well.
If you are not on engine 1372, getting a definition update should get you
there I believe.
If you are seeing this error on engine 1372, we'll need to investigate, via
the WinDefend event log entries in the system events log--where the detected
object is located, which should tell us why it can't be removed--it may be
in the System Restore store, or it could be in an antivirus Quarantine.
