Do i need some kind of capture card for my cpu?? I have a graphics card its
a Radian 9600 pro but i dont know if i need a vid capture card??????

That's an analog Hi8 camcorder... yes you need some kind of analog video
capture device for your computer.

See the Analog Video Capture section of my website for some of the devices
being used.

Can i just go and by a capture card for my cpu instead of doing those
options?? ONce i get it will that be the only thing i need???? ONe more
thing Even though i have a hi8 cam can i use norm tapes (not hi8) and prob
get it to work?

The capture device is to connect your computer to the camcorder... it can be
one you install internally in the computer or one you connect to it using a
USB port (like mine - a Dazzle 80). It's not referred to as a CPU capture
card.

Yes, that should be all you need... assuming you have cables that came with
the camcorder to plug it in.

There is only one size tape that fits it the camcorder... if you mean normal
as digital8 tapes, then yes.... the digital8 tapes can be used in digital8
or Hi8 camcorders.
