Even when the sidebar gadgets are placed onto the desktop, Windows will
change their position slightly during the next boot. The result is a
jumbled mess on the desktop after a few reboots.
Microsoft cannot argue that the gadgets are started up in any order and
"forget" their positions as "per design", because it still remembers the
"rough" position. It's just not accurate! Since when do computers mess up
on such basic arithmetics as calculating the pixel position correctly?
Must've been some drunk Windows programmer. Looking forward to a fix
arriving in the automatic updates, hopefully soon...
