Hi all,

Why would I need a modify option in the maintenance dialog if my
installer anyhow doesn't have only one feature?

Thanks,
Viv

OK, so this means that showing a maintenance dialog with just repair and
remove wouldn't be so out of "msi best practices"?
I assume for this I can alter somehow the dialog to remove the modify
option is this correct? Or can I do this just via a property so that
then the MSI constructs the changed dialog on the fly?

Thanks,
Viv

Windows Installer does not itself generate a maintenance dialog
with Modify, Repair, and Remove buttons. If such a dialog is
desired, it and its buttons and labels must be explicitly defined
in the Dialog, Control, and ControlEvent tables of the MSI file.
Thus, how to best remove the Modify option depends on what
programs you are using to make the MSI file.
