I have a web site, originally written with .net 1.1, now maintained with
VS2008 using .net 2.0. I have a few controls that cause a change to the
display (recalculation of price). I would like to have the display not move
at all, i.e. if I'm 16 lines down and the checkbox just clicked is in the
middle of the browser window I want it to remain there. Currently the screen
moves such that the checkbox just clicked ends up as low as possible, just
barely on the browser window.
Is there any way to make the screen appear to remain static, even if the
display changes? I'm not using Javascript, at least overtly. Should I?
