Hi ,
We are having a problem with 'user switch' . If the first
user in connected to the internet and then switches to
the second user desktop, the internet connection is no
longer active.
I should appreciate any suggestions as to how this might
be corrected.
Thank You,
Ann H-M

Click Start, Run and enter REGEDIT Go to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

Look in the right pane for a value called KeepRASConnections. If it exists,
it should be set to 1. If not, double click the KeepRASConnections value
and change it to 1. If it doesn't exist, then right click in a blank area
of the right pane, select New, DWord value and name it KeepRASConnections.
Set it to 1.

Dear Ramesh,
Thank you so much for your help and to Doug too. It would
appear that step three makes all the difference so to
speak. When I created a new file and clicked on DWord
value to enter 1, it did not resolve our problem.
However , when I entered 1 in String Value, it did. It
really helps.
Thank You Very Much,
Ann H-M.
