Main Page = Old News

Not to bash anyone but I thought with having news on the main page, it would be updated a little more frequently than it is?

The web news gets updated daily (unless the news poster is away), and the main news on the left of the front page gets updated much less frequently. I should really find a way to update it more often to be honest!
