Main hard drive isn't c:/ anymore. How do I change it??

For some reason my main hard drive has letter d:/ (as
opposed to the usual c:/) assigned to it. I can't change
it using Disk Management because it's the system/boot
drive. Is there a way to make it the c:/ drive again
without reinstalling XP? (Will that even work?)
