Mailwasher losing messages?

I started using Mailwasher last week to screen spam.
I like it a lot so far, with one disturbing exception: It seems to be losing
messages that are not marked for deletion.

Twice today I have reviewed messages on MW, noting an email from a business
source that I was looking for. The message was there, and it was not marked in
any of the 3 boxes. After processing and clearing messages, then receiving in
OE, all messages downloaded except the one I was looking for. Checking back to
the ISP via online web mail, the messages were no longer on the server. This has
heppend twice today.
Anyone else had this happen?
Any idea what's going on?

Mailwasher used to be good, but since bouncing option is useless, you should try
programs like Poptray or such.

Even better....Magic Mail Monitor 2.9, i think is the latest version

I've used mailwasher since it was launched, and have never had this
problem, (except when I tried to be clever with message rules)

Comment on Magic Mail -

Cons • Magic Mail Monitor supports POP accounts only
• No internal mail preview
• No filters, advanced features

I tried magic mail, and although I liked it a bit, I found these
deficiencies fatal. I would like to see them fixed, till then I'll stick
with m/w; even it's "crude" blackist and filtering work fine for me.

I hope you find the prob, sorry I couldn't assist on that

1. Check the Mailwasher spam log at "C:\WINDOWS\Application
Data\MailWasherPro\spamLog.txt" to see what the program did with the
message (e.g., delete, auto delete). There is an auto delete function
based on what rules you may have set up.
2. Contact (e-mail address removed), they are pretty good at replying
to problem questions.

Out of curiosity why is it not good now? It seems to work very well in
my experience.

The only time I've 'lost' a message was when I accidentally added it to my
blacklist. With only 1 out of 48 messages not being Spam, I just got
carried away with those ticks. Apart from that, this program has saved me
alot of bother, and probably a few nasty viruses.

Where is the Autodelete function? I've not spotted that. The only thing
I've seen is the filter option that doesn't show the message in the list.

"FYIS.org/estore"

FilterSidebar/FiltersTab/AddorEdit/Check boxes "Mark for Deletion" &
"Do not display this email in the list".
This email will appear with "auto delete' In the spam log the next
time you process the messages.
