Hello all,

I created a report to print labels but when I run it I get a popup box that
says "Enter Parameter Value" and the word "Trim" appears below along with a
section for me to enter a command or a value.

If I just click the OK button, the only thing that shows up in the report
window is "#Error" instead of data. I noticed though that the file I'm
working on is in Access 2000 format, but I'm using Access 2003.

Does anyone know why I get this error message along with the corrupted data?

Open the query that the report is based on. Look at the criteria. Access can
not evaluate the criteria when the report opens so you get the "Enter
Parameter Value" message. If the criteria is based on a form, perhaps the
form does not exist or is not open when the report opens. Also look for a
calculated field that uses the Trim function. There's probably something
amuk there.
