mailing list and mail merging

hi there,

i have a picture i inserted to a blank word document.
i want to send this picture to a list of E-Mail's as an HTML (Not as an
attachment).
i have a data base of mail adress in excel sheet.

when i use the mail merge wizard in the word document i'm sending it to
a list of 20,000 people.
but it stops sending after 4000-5000 mail adresses.

i checked for screen saver options and power saving options and every
thing is OK - no power saving options is enabled.

someone told me about scripting & CDO but i never writen a script
before.

your fast help will b appriciated.

Writing a program to perform the merge with CDO would take you a lot longer than simply breaking the Excel list into batches.

In any case, a mailing list of 20,000 names is going to require a lot of management on your part to deal with bounces and requests for unsubscription. You should be looking at a list hosting service or a dedicated mailing list application.
