In Word XP I am trying to get a mailing list from Wordperfect to convert
with the post office bar codes for our church. If nothing else I will
retype the mailing list but do need to know how to put the bar codes
with each address on a label. May be simple but I have not found
answer yet!

Barcodes in Word are produced by the Barcode field using information derived
from the zip code. It should not be necessary to retype the mail list, but
you will probably have to alter the merge document to include the barcode
field. Word Help explains the use of Bar Code - the following demonstrate
the use of mail merge in XP.

If you create labels as part of a mail merge, adding the bar code is one of
the options automatically offered provided the label is large enough to have
room for it. If you're adapting existing labels, then you would have to add
the BARCODE field manually.

What if I do not want to print the address barcode on the envelope.

Can I print a barcode that represent's a clients ID at the bottom of
every page of a Word document?
