i am new using windows mail-i have several mail accounts, would anyone tell
me how do i make different mail accounts go to different mailboxes?

Use Tools > Message Rules to redirect messages into separate folders based
on the account that they were sent to.

Can you elaborate on how to do this? I have 3 email accounts & in OE I used
to just switch to each as I needed to.
Can't seem to do this in WM.

It gets a bit complicated with three accounts.
You're better off switching to Windows Live Mail (WLM).
Although WLM doesn't have the full-blown Identities feature
that OE had, nevertheless it has some of that functionality.
Separate folders for each account help to keep mail separated
without having to use any message rules.

I'm using Vista Windows Mail with five accounts from three different
providers.
Use Tools > Accounts... to open dialog to establish connection parameters.
Click ADD... button and enter required parameters.
You should be able to use same parameters as OE.

Afterwards, you can create new folders. Right click on Local Folders and
select New Folder.
Once both those steps are done, you can establish rules to have mail from a
specified account to go to a particular folder - which must exist first.
