Blind Carbon Copy, ie other receipients cannot see the addresses you copied
to
 
Originally it meant Blind Carbon Copy (when typewriters were in vogue),
although a more modern meaning is Blind Courtesy Copy.
When recipients of your message are placed on the BCC line,
none of them knows who the other recipients are. Which is unlike
using the CC or To addressing lines, where each recipient can see
who the other recipients are.
