mail waiting to be sent... help!

i composed an email and when i tried to send it, it had an error because the file was too large. thats fine, thats not my problem. the problem i am having now is that everytime i open outlook (actually its outlook express but i assume they work pretty much the same) it tries to send this file and takes forever because of this error. i no longer need to send this file.. i just want to delete it! it is not under my 'local folders' (the first email acct on there) it is under a separate one. its hotmail, too, but that shouldnt matter cause the email is stuck in outlook, not hotmail

help! how can i delete this!!
 
FYI - there is an Outlook Express Newsgroup.

As for your problem before you launch OE ensure that you
are NOT connected AT ALL to the internet and DO NOT
CONNECT to the internet AT ALL. Then you will be able to
DELETE the message - you can't delete it when you are
connected to the internet because as soon as you launch
OE it holds this message and wouldn't let you delete
because MAPI is trying to send it.
