Sending a mail from Outlook 2003 to multiple internal addresses causes
everybody in the recipient list to recieve multiple copies (= to the
number of recipients).
We use Mdaemon to retrieve mail from a pop server at our ISP (Verio).
It then dedupes the mails using the MessageID. When Outlook 2000 users
send a mail to multiple recipients all copies of the mail have the
same MessageID. However, mails from the Outlook 2003 users get unique
IDs for each recipient, and so the deduping fails. Anyone know why
they should behave so differently?
Thanks in advance,
Tom.
