mail sending

Hello guys and girls,

Same problem with windows mail sending, took me an hour to read all the
comment and suggetions, is ther a solution found ?

The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'Re: FW:', Account: 'mail
server', Server: 'pop.freeservers.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

I remembered I had this same problem more then a year ago, then running XP,
made a change with regedit and it worked.....

I face same problem, u can try this. (bellow massage copy from windows help)

To use authentication when sending e‑mail
Click to open Windows Mail.

Click the Tools menu, and then click Accounts.

Under Mail, click your e‑mail account, and then click Properties.

Click the Servers tab, and then, under Outgoing Mail Server, select the My
server requires authentication check box.

If the account information that you use to send e‑mail is not the same
information that you use to receive messages, click Settings, click Log on
using, and then enter the user name and password that you use to send e‑mail.

Are you sure that is the correct SMTP server authorized by your ISP?
Your Internet connectivity appears to be coming from an ADSL service
in the Netherlands, which has no relationship with Freeservers.com.
ISPs generally don't permit port 25 use on any server except their own.

Seem to say the a AV or Antispam is blocking it. Disable your AV automatic email scanning or Anti Spam
