John

I'd like to know where (file names) for the Mail Rules file and Mail
Accounts file for W98 and W2000 Pro. I am upgrading Hard disks and
operating systems and would like to transfer these settings. I am having to
do a fresh install type upgrade as the OS upgrade was none too stable.

Thanks

They appear to not be files but are part of the Registry.
You may not be ablle to import them into the new PC since each time you
create an email identity, a new ID code is generated.

might try the files and settings transfer wizard.
or the instructions here forackup/restore of SOME settings
