Mail - reading messages in newsgroups

Final thing:
anyone else notice if you're reading messages in Windows Mail that there is
an up and a down arrow to read the next / previous messages - as always.
EXCEPT that the down arrow now shows PREVIOUS and the up arrow shows NEXT .
Since when does DOWN = previous ?
< MAIL refresh> just popped up again over this window. I'm done
 
Well I'm on my X64 Beta 2 and newsgroup reading arrows are correct here.
Clicking NEXT got me thru this thread. In x86 clicking " the down arrow"
reads the previous message rather than reading down and expanded thread.

Does changing whether the messages are sorted "Newest on Top" or "Oldest on
Top" change the orientation of the arrows? I'd try it but I don't have any
mail set up in Vista.

See how Previous = down arrow and Next = up arrow.

Good Idea, tried, and no.

In fact, if you re-sort the mail (say by date sent) the mail is obviously
switched into different order, yet the arrows and tags stay exactly the
same...
