Mail Merge

I have two document on extremely large excel spreassheet
26 columns which I then merge into a word docment.

As the excel document contains large cells of text, there
is a problem with spell checking.

Does anyone have any idea how to make this merge easier to
use.

Is there a way to do it in word?

I'm not 100% sure I understand your question. Is it "How do a
spell check a mail merge result?"

The easiest way (besides running spell check in Excel!) is to
Ctrl+A, Tools/Language/Set language, choose your language,
then F7.
