I have a new computer to which I have downloaded data
from my old system. This includes an address book written
in a Works 4 data base sheet. I need to use this as a
data source in a Mail Merge program. When I try to do
this I have a message "office cannot use files that
contain formulas. Remove the formulas from the file to
use as a data source". There are only letters, numbers,
and punctuation in the file. WHAT ARE THE FOEMULAS AND
HOW CAN THEY BE REMOVED.
 
You probably need to open the database in Works then save as a comma
or tab delimited text file. Then you should be able to use it in Word
