Hello,

I'm looking for information on how-to automate a merge. I need to export a
client list to word and generate envelopes.

The return address is invariable. So I only need the user to have the
ability to select the envelop type and then generate a mail merge in
consequence with the results from a query. Is Albert Kallal's Super easy
mail merge suitable for this? Could it be adapted?

I don't mind programming but would need a little helping hand to know where
to start.

Daniel,

Albert's Mail Merge will work great for you. I've used it for quite a
while now doing exactly what your looking to do. When I switched from
Access 2003 to Access 2007 I didn't have to change a thing. He has
good detailed instructions available. I'm sure that all that use it
can help out if you have any questions.
