Hi Everyone,

I need to send emails to about 1500 selected people in my contacts
list.. I have Outlook 2002 SP-2. Is there anyway to do this and is
there anyway to have Outlook send these emails one at a time to
prevent them from going into spam folders? I assume that some
Internet Mail Carriers automatically do that when the email reveived
is part of a larger list.

Thanks in advance.

Sue, Word 2002 Mail Merge will pick up email addresses, first names,
last names.etc and stick then in emails?

Dennis

Yes, that's exactly what a mail merge does. Start the merge from Outlook for the most flexibility -- Tools | Mail Merge in your contacts folder.

Sue, Thanks! Once I saw the dialogue box, I remember one of the
options was email, in the bottom left corner.

Another question, when it merges does it output one email at a time or
does it merge to a huge email with lots of contacts.

Finally, I was given a Sony NX80V Clie for my birthday and the
interface with Outlook is horrible. There are two third party
programs "Beyond Contacts" and "Key Suite" that are supposed to be
great with Outlook. Anyone have experience with these?

A mail merge creates a personally addressed, individual message to each recipient.

As for the programs, I suggest that you start a new thread here and put the names of the programs in the subject to attract the attention of other users.
