I need to send out a mass email that is automatically copied to my
supervisor. The e-mail has to come from me but ... what is the procedure (if
it is possible?) to ensure that my supervisor is included in the CC: field in
each individual e-mail?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Sharon,
Are you saying that you want your supervisor to receive 5,280 (exageration
for emphasis) copies of the same message? I suggest that you simply include
the supervisor in the data base of recipients for the mail merge.

Hi Charles,

There are 150 recipients and she absolutely insists on being a CC. I've
already tried the suggestion you give but it's a no go ... she wants to be
able to use Reply ad hoc to any one of of the recipients. She's adamant. So
.... do you have any idea how I can go about this? I thought perhaps that
there is a function in Outlook where any mails from me are automatically CC'd
to another person. I figured if I could switch this on, do the merge, switch
it off and business as usual. Am I dreaming ... ??

Why couldn't you use a rule for this? Turn the rule on just before the
merge, then turn it off immediately afterward.

I don't think outbound rules work for mail merge messages, because they're Simple MAPI, not full Outlook.
