Mail-Merge HTM Word Document & Hyperlinks

In the past, I've been able to mail-merge an eNewsletter containing working
hyperlinks (and pictures). I got a new computer, but installed the same
software versions: Office 2002 on Windows XP Pro. I select the recipients in
Outlook, then click mail merge and open the pre-existing HTM document, then
click the button to send it to email.

The most recent eNewsletter was received properly formatted, including
embedded photo and varied fonts, but all the hyperlinks were stripped to
just text. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Ralph

Are you saying I need to go to the Microsoft web site for updates to Windows
& Office? I think my system is setup to do that automatically for Windows.
I'll verify it is updated for Office.

Or, is there some other place I need to go?

I thought my updates were current, but thanks to your question, I discovered
they were not.
That solved the problem!
Thanks a million!

Right. If memory serves there was an August 2002 update to Word that fixes
this.
