I've written a few mail merge templates for O2k3. I was wondering if anyone
had a macro which would do the following:

1. Select a contact
2. Hit the macro's button
3. A list pops up with a choice of merge templates.
4. User clicks a template choice, and a fully merged template pops open in
Word.

The built in merge template was too complicated for many of our office
users, and I need to simplify it considerably. Any suggestions?

Templates?

So, you've created some Word documents to be used as templates, with the
various merge fields in them?

And what you want to do, is have a button on the toolbar that can be
pressed so these 'templates' show in a list, from which the user can
select the one they require?

I'm more interested in these "templates" you 'speak' off, can you
describe them? Word, or something else?

Yes, I made a document that has our firm's letterhead at the top. Then
further down the page, I have inserted Word merge fields for the name of the
contact, the address, etc.

I can then use the merge wizard to create a letter, with the recipient's
address inserted automatically, all on a new untitled document.

The problem is that the merge wizard has too many steps for my office staff.
I'd like it if I could just select a contact and hit a button and out pops
the merged document.

DITO.....
I need a simple ....easy.......!!!! Quick.. way to fill contact
information into a workd template of my choice and design.. ie.
......Fax template.....Cutomer Visit Report.....

The Mail Merge SHOW is to involved....I just want to fill out a Word
document with contact information for a selected Outlook contact...

Why is this so difficult...I am not a GURO...of Word or Outlook...But
this is way to complicated

Please....I beg of you ....Turn on the Lights!...It is Dark in Here.

Ok, I checked with a trusted Office customization company. They referred me
to this page:

http://www.slipstick.com/contacts/startletter.htm#ol2kmerge

It looks like there's something there that will take care of this!
