When I do the mail merge in Word 2007 from Outlook 2007 according to the
Microsoft help instructions everything works except the output. This is what
I get on the page: «Next Record» multiple times. I cannot seem to find
anything to solve this problem.

Here I sit almost one year later with the same problem printing labels...follow instructions to the letter (I'm a retired engineer and fighter pilot so I follow instuctions pretty well...when I want to, of course!)...and getting the same results, a generic lanel with no names and addresses. I even downloaded the proper program from Avery...same results. What's up? HELP!

Ok. This is very frustrating.
Ok. This is very frustrating. I just followed you instructions from "Which

getting what everyone else is getting. I get on the page: ??Next Record??

Must have missed a step then. Try again.Did you forget to propagate the labels?

Read the thread you included. How are we supposed to know what instructions
you are following? How are we supposed to know what problem you are having?
You provided no information.
Did you remember to include the "Propagate Labels" step?

Russ:

1. Since he says it's one year later, it seems strange that not a single
user contacted him with some of your questions and/or advice during that
year. 2. In his second post he identifiedboth his versions and that he was
following the Microsoft instruction exactly. So what is it about "we don't
know what instructions you are following" that troubles you?
3. It is incorrect that he provided 'no information'. If you are going to
be so grumpy in your answers, perhaps you should wait until you're having a
'friendly day' in which to participate in giving help to people.

How does one discern what the user is doing wrong when we have no idea what
the user did? Would you care to guess how many different "instructions" for
mail merges there are?

how freakin' complicated can this be. Why can we not simply go to the view
and category we want and hit print? I have been a PALM user for over a decade
and never had this type of challenge. It is so user friendly, why can"t
microsoft get this right?????
