With random frequency, we are denied access to a database due to "This operation could not be completed because of dialog or database engine failure" error. We have tried ensuring that no one else is using the file; deselecting the "use MS Word as email editor" option in Outlook; and reselecting the the file through "Select another list" in Word.

This error message appears after the database is opened, if you select 'edit'

Although I've found references to this in the Word help files, I can't find a solution
