mail labels from contacts by Categories

I am trying to create mailing labels using outlook 2002
contacts but only people in one categorie but I cannot
get it to filter by categories, the help files do not
cover mail merge in enough depth.... help!!!

Start the merge from Outlook (not Word) in a view of your Contacts Folder
that is filtered or grouped by Categories.

I don't know about outlook 2002 but in 2000 you filter
the contact list first by going to view, current views
and then Customize Current View. The next panel will have
an option to filter by category. Then proceed to mail
merge. Hope this helps.
