I have just got a new Dell PC with XP home and Office 2003. I have set up
both my wife and myself as user accounts.
when the PC boots up the two user account come up as espected, but it states
number of unread e-mail. which would be fine if accurate. in outlook the
e-mail are marked as read. but in the account log in the number is correctbut
it states as unread and is climbing.

mild irritant unsure if it is outlook not comunicating properly or the XP
home.

hope anyone can help.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\UnreadMail\[Your
E-Mail Address]. In the right pane modify: Message Count, Change it to 0.
