Brand new machine...
When I import messages from Outlook Express 6, I only see them if I look
under "Local Folders" - they don't display in the folders list. However, if I
reboot (it's not enough to just restart the program or log off and on again),
then they display.
Further, if I move or delete folders, or create new folders, Mail doesn't
display the changes until I reboot (again).
Sometimes, even rebooting does not suffice, and some of my folders with
their messages have been lost altogether. They're presumably still on the
machine, but I can't see them. Lucky that I have a full backup.
Sometimes, when I attempt to create a folder, Mail says there was an error
but doesn't give the reason why. It just says that there was an error.
I'm far too scared to download new messages in Windows Mail, because some
(or all) of them may get lost.
Please give me some help! I need to access my emails!
Thank you.
