-Using Vista is mail now always 'Windows Mail' and no longer 'Outlook'?
-Windows Mail Inbox automatically opens mail when I click on it. Previous
Outlook would only open when 'double' clicked. If you wish to delete mail in
Windows Mail I can't click on it to delete without opening it. Doesn't
opening unknown mail allow all nasties to load onto your system or is this no
longer unsafe with Vista? I am running Norton Internet Security.

I think you are confusing Outlook Express with Outlook.
With Vista, Windows Mail replaces Outlook Express.
There are some differences, as you're finding out.

As far as single clicking versus double clicking, you can
set that preference in Folder Options.
