mail but no internet

I have Mail and some of my programs I can update, but when I open My home
page it is shown as page cannot be displayed__no other URL will open __am
using XP pro with SP2 and I believe it started when I installed steganos's
internet anon__I have since deleted {steganos}with an uninstaller __any help
please

Have you checked the steganos site to see if they have a fix?

If the problem was recent try running System Restore to revert your system
back to a time prior to first installing steganos. Go to Start->Help and
Support->Pick a task->click on the Sytem Restore link. Use the wizard to
revert back.

Have you checked with your ISP to make sure that they don't have a server
problem affecting the WWW?

To "me" - don`t forget Steganos uses an encryption tunnel to use the
internet .
