hi evry time somebody tries to send me mail they get it back stating mail box
full how do i go about emptying it

It sounds like you have the setting selected to "retain a copy of each mail
on the server"?

This setting is needed for users who collect mail to several devices,
desktop PC & Laptop & Mobile Phone etc.

The above can still be achieved if you set a number of days to retain
messages before being deleted from the online server inbox.

Go to the Tools menu in Windows Mail>accounts>select your account>Advanced
tab.

You can either remove the checkmark, or enter a number of days to retain
messages, (I use 21 days), apply/OK your way out.

The next time you poll for new mail it will clear your online Inbox to the
level that you selected, and your new mail will come in without the error
that your friends report.

The Inbox on your email account's SERVER is full.
Log into the webmail portal to your account, and delete some messages.
Then change the Windows Mail settings to delete messages after a few days
after downloading.
 
In addition the spam or junk folder on the server could be filled up so they can check that also when they use the webmail interface and empty it.
