Can you supply the exact name of the data file?
e.g. winmail.dat
"Windows Media Player format" can have many extensions.

Are you really talking about sending attachments or receiving
attachments?
If the latter, then what email application is sending the attachments?

An OE group may be better than an IE6 group.
