seems if i create the windows mail account while logged on as myself
(administrator) then only I can see HIS mail.. not good.
Can I move it or re-assign rights somehow?
Or do I have to remove it and re-create it while logged on as the user?

A new operating system is SO much fun... especially without manuals.

Remove it and re-create the mail account while logged on as that user.
As you are finding out, Vista has real security built in.

Vista's built-in "Help and Support" is quite extensive. No dead trees needed.

My problem folder is the Outbox. I don;t see a way to delete and re-create
it. Can you tell me how?

Thanks,

Michael

I don't know why you are posting in this particular thread. Your issue is
entirely different than what this thread is about.

If you have a stuck message in the Outbox, use this fix:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090

You're right---sorry about that. I thought I was replying to a different
thread. Maybe it is just me, but I find it really hard to navigate that
little 1 inch tall scrolling tree view they give us. Is there a way to expand
that? I don't see.

Thanks for the Microsoft link.

The web interface to this 'forum' is terrible.
This is actually a newsgroup which is much better navigated
with a real news reader, something you already have. Just click
on this link:
