I have inserted a map to a Power Point slde, When run as a
slide show all the detil in it are very small is there any
magnifying glass tools or zoom tools I can add in the
slide as when I need to zoom in some part of the map I can
just click on the custom icon to use in the slide show???

There are two freeware tools, LENS VO by Starfleet Academy and SMAGNIFY by
Kevin Solway. They're both very small, when activated they remain on top.
Just place any of these programs' files in the same folder where you have
the presentation and add a button or link to the executable.

There are many magnifying tools, although none are part of PowerPoint. One
is free and comes with Windows. It's part of the accessibility features.

But every magnifier I have used or seen pixilated the image. They do not
work any magic, just enlarge the graphic, which then allows the pixels to
enlarge also.

I've found it best to insert a larger graphic of my map on other slides. On
the original slide, create links to the different areas to see the "blown
up" version.
