Greetings
I have a ps/2 wedge type MSR connected to a very compact POS machine. When I
received the machine, it had Windows 2000 on it, the MSR worked fine. When I
installed XPP on the machine, the MSR would not work without a ps/2 keyboard
present, the same with XPe. I thought it was a driver problem, but on the
Win2K installation, there is no driver loaded for the msr, and the device
works fine if I start up in DOS. I have had suggestions about using "dummy
keyboards" but the limited space on the device, and the fact that it mounts
flush on a wall, make that a very bad option. Does anybody know of a
software based solution for this problem?
Thanks
Richard
