Hi there!

I am informed that the browser newsgroup is somehow more
appropriate for this question than m.p.w.i.ie_outlook express,
so here goes:-

AFAIK, there is no intrinsic way to write a macro or something
like that in IE6. Can anyone point me to add-ons to do this?
Ideally, I would like to place a button on the tool bar. I have
recently found myself having to go thro' the same multistep
sequence several times a day. I can "write" the VBA code for
what I want in MS Word but I see no way to use it in IE6.

Thanks in advance

Start with some basics that way folks can better help you. What would your browser button do?
What does your Word VBA code do?
What sequence of steps are you trying to accomplish?

I'm presuming you are really talking about the "tool bar" and not a user created "web page" with some button. (The latter can be done with HTML).
There's really no comparable "macro" coding capability for the "browser toolbars" built-in. You'd pretty much have to go to sturdy programming tools & 3-rd party add-ons.
