I have a spreadsheet that I created, where I once set up a
macro to aid in data input. I have since removed that
macro (and there are no macros listed when I go to the
macro listing window). But every time I open this
spreadsheet, it always asks if I want to enable or disable
the contained macros! How can I get rid of this message?
If anyone can help, thank you!

You can also do it with VBA. See:

You'll need to scroll down about 3/4 of the way down to "Deleting All
VBA Code in A Project.

Having deleted all code, save the workbook! Then close and upon
re-opening you should have lost the message.

Dino - I have the exact same issue. I have gone over the
spreadsheet with a fine tooth comb. I know there isn't a
macro any in the workbook, there are no hidden tabs, etc..
driving me crazy. I do know that the spreadsheet was
created in one version of Excel and is being used in a new
version.

I'm only writing to commiserate and so I can get word if
there is a resolution. Thanks.
