Macros to Filter

I have put a button on a form for a macro to run the Filter by Form command
and another button to run the Apply Filter Command. However, once I activate
the Filter by Form command the Apply Filter Buttom goes dim and I have to use
the on on the Tool Bar. Any idea on what I'm doing wrong?

You are correct: the buttons do not work in Filter By Form. In fact, none of
the event procedures work there.

The toolbar button is the best you can do, unless you create an interface
that does not require Filter By Form at all (which is what we normally do).
