Macros - starting and stopping

I have a line of information that I have to fill out
constantly and moving across the line, no matter how I
choose to do so, is inconvenient. I'd like a macro that
could put the standard information, then pause for me to
fill in the blank, then continue with the rest of the
standard information, pausing again, etc. The line is as
follows:

FVC (fillin); FEV1 (fillin); FEV1% (fillin)%; MMEF
(fillin); PEF (fillin).

So, the completed line would like like follows:

FVC 3.80; FEV1 2.16; FEV1% 57%; MMEF 0.90; PEF 5.25.

In other words, I want it to jump from one blank to the
next in the minimum amount of keystrokes. I could do this
in WordPerfect and had tons of them set up, but I'm lost
when it comes to Word. Can anybody point me to the right
place, or (better yet!!) create the macro.

Please respond to my email addy as I can't always get back
to the newsgroups to check for replies although I do try.
Thank you, in advance, so much for your help!

I received a reply from Dave Patrick --- He stated this
was in the wrong place regarding "operating system" but
I'm in the new user newsgroup. Where should I be asking
this if not in the new user information?

Nothing to do with the operating system. Ask in a word or office group.

As he said, in a Word and/or an Office Group.
Your question has nothing to do with Windows 2000.
