Macros for MM2? Please help

Is anyone aware of macros capable of segmenting clips
into adjustable durations? I'm using Movie Maker to
prepare footage for behavioral analysis and need to
insert blank screens at regulat intervals. Since I
anticipate over 300 hours of tape, I'd like to automate
the process as much as possible.

Help/suggestions offered is/are appreciated.

Unfortunately, there are very few "hooks" into WMM. You might try using the
"Producer" add-in for Powerpoint:

this fits our needs. Perhaps MM2 is the wrong program
for us to use. Maybe there's another? Adobe?

I like Vegas from Sonic Foundry better than Premiere.
